Jennifer is a Registered Massage Practitioner, Level III Usui Reiki Master, and a Gifted Advanced Lifeway Practitioner working with the Akashic Records.
She founded The Altar Space as a path to continue her 8 years of massage work in the area, and to expand her roots and Reiki Offerings. Then, her work with Akashic Records started to develop. She continues to study ontology as a part of Living System with Leah Garza and is seeking additional teacher training with Helen Vonderheide.
Massage
Jenn is a lead massage practitioner in the Downtown Frederick, MD community, where she’s been practicing since 2014. She originally called Holistic Center Om Chakra home for 6 years where she practiced Reiki and Massage. Her work is very unique, with a naturally firm but gentle touch. Beyond her pressure, she describes her intuitive work as a moving meditation, a conscious listening with the hands and heart. A communication takes place, and what follows is fluid and dedicated to the needs of each client. She graduated from the Central Maryland School of Massage in 2013 and offers deep tissue, Swedish, pre-natal, and energetic reiki and akashic applications and modalities in her work. She is skilled in full body massage, though she has outstanding skills in neck and shoulder, and hip work.
Akasha
She first learned to read the Akashic Records (and had her first reading ever) with Leah Garza in 2019. She found that Akasha defined a feeling she could previously not define. From there she was introduced to; and deepened her practice with, Helen Vonderheide, expanding in every direction and becoming a Level V Advanced Lifeway Practitioner. During this time she created her own Personal Pathway into the Akasha, which she uses during readings for herself and others. Jennifer is on a life-long study of ontology, Akasha, somatics, and the relationship between physical non-physical.
Reiki
In late 2013 Jennifer received her reiki attunement. Since then her work has been infused with radiant reiki energy. She has strengthened her practice over the years, working with Mona Thiel to reach her Level III Usui Reiki Mastership in 2016. She offers individual Reiki sessions, and Reiki with Bodywork with her Energetic Alignment Massage.
